A Periodontist is a Dentist who specialises in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of gum disease. Periodontists receive extensive training in these areas as well as the placement of dental implants. They are familiar with the latest techniques for diagnosing and treating periodontal disease, and are also trained in performing cosmetic periodontal procedures.
Why a Specialist Periodontist should perform your dental implant surgery?
When we talk about surgical procedures – you want someone who has had a lot of experience with dental implant surgery as well as general oral surgery and aesthetic periodontal surgical procedures. A Periodontist is an obvious choice. Treatment outcomes depend on expertise, experience and consistency.
Why a Specialist Prosthodontist or experienced Dentist should restore your implant?
When it comes to restoring dental implants, the team approach is the most ideal model for dental implant therapy because all the aspects of the patient’s treatment are handled by the most qualified professionals – surgery performed by our Specialist Periodontist, Dr Pedja Pavlovic and restorations performed by our Specialist Prosthodontists , Dr Guy Stephens, Dr Bardia Valizadeh and Dr Anna Pergamalian or our very experienced Dental Surgeon Dr Peter Newman Brown. This is our approach.
It’s simple: It really comes to expertise, experience and consistency.
