Amy has always had an interest in science and healthcare and prior to her dental training obtained a degree from Loughborough University in Human Biology. Amy qualified from Queen Mary University London in 2018 with a dual qualification in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy. Amy’s dental training took place at the Royal London Dental Hospital where she received an award in special care dentistry.

Amy works dually as a Dental Therapist and a Dental Hygienist and enjoys using her full scope to help patients prevent and manage dental manifestations such as periodontitis and dental decay. Amy enjoys building trusting relationships with her patients and supporting them throughout their treatment journey.

Amy has a passion for oral health education and helping people to establish new dental habits which can have positive impacts on not only their oral health but their overall general wellbeing. Amy has experience providing oral health education in schools and care homes, emphasising the importance of oral health for all ages.

Outside of work Amy enjoys staying active and has recently taken up two new hobbies in skiing and ballroom dancing.
